This was a big shots win for the Arches Ladies sponsored by Tenby House over Picton ladies last week winning by 45 shots to 29, but with one Tenby rink losing they returned home with just four points of the six league points available. Alison Redman and her rink of Liz, Audrey and Lynn have had a good season and this form continued against the Picton ladies rink skipped by Pam Langdon. At eight ends, Alison's rink were ahead by 13 shots to nil, the Picton ladies made a brief recovery, but were well beaten at the end by 31 shots to 11. Captain Carol's rink of Margaret, Jan and Gerry have had an up and down season, playing well at times, but not getting the final shot in to convert losing positions into winning ones. The rink had their chances but dropped six shots on the 16th end to the Picton rink skipped by Ann Thomas which sealed defeat for the Arches ladies losing by 14 shots to 18.
